A Welcome Letter from Rebecca

Dear Friends,

As 2024 draws to a close I am delighted to share some news from Friends. I hope this edition of our newsletter gives you a sense of the breadth and quality of teaching and learning at Friends.

We all received big news on December 12 when the Board of Trustees announced the Head of School Bo Lauder’s retirement. In 2001, Bo arrived as a changemaker and will retire in June 2026 as the longest serving Head in the School’s history. Under his leadership the campus has been transformed and the endowment increased tenfold, while holding fast to the School’s Quaker values and practices.
